Write2Users and ADID workshop in India

Technical Communication Workshop in India

A copy of press release done jointly by ApraDocs Information Developers and Write2Users.

ApraDocs Information Developers (ADID) and Write2Users (W2U) are proud to announce two ambitious training workshops for technical communicators in India. To extend its highly regarded technical writing training program, W2U now offers international technical communication workshops in New Delhi and Bangalore, India.

The workshop named “Technical Communication Workshop” will be conducted in New Delhi on May 13-15 and in Bangalore on May 20-22.

The overall objectives of the workshops are

 To increase the awareness of the skill set required to perform as a technical writer

 To contribute to developing a network among Indian technical writers

In addition, the participants will get a good feeling of what is state of the art within methods and tools in our modern world of technical communication. The training will be a good mixture of theory and hands-on training in teams as well as on individual basis. One exercise is building the information architecture of a help system with post-it notes (a way of doing a structured brainstorming).

A very informative seminar on Madcap Flare is also offered the day after each workshop.

Quote from Raksha Pradeep, founder of ADID: "For anyone interested in hands-on training to complement their technical communication skill set, these three-day workshops are the perfect solution. We understand online training is convenient and effective, but we also know that people learn in different ways and patterns, so we are also pleased to offer an in-person workshop option for technical communicators interested in that growth opportunity."

 Course highlights

 Internationally Recognized Certificate

 World Class Courseware

 A-Z skill set as a technical communicator (single sourcing, topic-based authoring, personas, etc.)
